Fire departments host crab/shrimp feast this Saturday

The all-you-can-eat crab legs and shrimp feast last year sponsored by the Annandale and Bailey’s Crossroads volunteer fire departments was so successful, they’re doing it again.

It’s happening this Saturday, April 23, 2-5 p.m., in the social hall at the Annandale Fire Station, 7128 Columbia Pike. It’s $40 per person for adults, $20 for children age 6-12, and free for age 5 and under.

Besides crab legs and shrimp, there will be hot dogs, hush puppies, and coleslaw. Soft drinks, beer, wine, and desserts will be available for purchase.

There will also be a silent auction, raffles, and door prizes. The event is a fundraiser for the Annandale Volunteer Fire Department and the Bailey’s Crossroads Fire Department.

Want to get in a workout before the big feast? PR Performance Fitness is hosting a free boot camp Saturday, April 23, at 9 a.m. behind the Annandale Fire Station.

The two fire departments are also co-hosting a craft fair May 7 at the Annandale Fire Station, If you’re interested in being a vendor, contact Brenda Waller, 703-402-5006, [email protected].
