Fire strikes commercial building in Seven Corners

A fire at a commercial building in the 6300 block of Leesburg Pike in Seven Corners on Dec. 15 went to two alarms, the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department reports. When crews arrived at about 1:15 a.m., fire was showing from the roof. The fire was quickly extinguished, and there were no injuries.
According to the photo posted on Twitter by the FCFRD, the building appears to be 6315 Leesburg Pike, which housed the recently-closed Emessa restaurant and a hair salon.

Probably could not get out of the lease so they torched it. I suspect we will see more of that in Mason as our local economy continues to decline and impact local business.
