First responders salute healthcare workers treating COVID patients at Fairfax Hospital
Fairfax County police officers and firefighters took part in

Dozens of physicians and nurses stood along Gallows Road, as
police cruisers and firetrucks drove by with lights flashing and sirens blaring
in honor of the healthcare workers on the frontlines of the coronavirus
pandemic. The parade began with a flyover by an FBI helicopter.

Officers from the Mason, McLean, and West Springfield police
stations took part, along with the FCPD motor squad, Fairfax County Fire
and Rescue Department, Virginia State Police, George Mason University Police, and the City of Fairfax Fire Department. The salute to heroes was mutual, as many of the healthcare
workers waved homemade signs thanking first responders.
