Floor & Decor opens in Bailey’s Crossroads

A huge store that sells almost nothing except flooring and wall materials had a grand opening on Sept. 19 in Bailey’s Crossroads.

Floor & Decor took over two large commercial spaces formerly occupied by A.C. Moore and Bed Bath & Beyond at the Crossroads Center on Leesburg Pike.

The store stocks a big selection of wood, tile, marble, laminate, vinyl, and stone flooring and wall tiles. They also have molding, grout, trimming, and installation supplies.

Floor & Decor doesn’t install flooring or walls, said Wood Department Manager Kim Vongnaraj. But the store can connect customers with reliable installers.

During the grand opening celebration, the store awarded $10,000 to a lucky contractor selected in a random drawing.

Floor & Decor is planning a special event for contractors. There will be a “crack the code” puzzle game with a prize of $100,000 for the winning contractor.

The store is open 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday.
