Eric C. Kweder, 34, of 6035 Hydrangea Drive,
has been charged with murder.
He had
fled the scene but was apprehended by police at about 2:30 p.m. within five

search. The
crime occurred in a townhouse development not far from the intersection of
Franconia Road and S. Van Dorn Street.

Update: Police
have identified the victim as Andy Yu, 32, the Washington Post reported Dec. 4.
Officers found an ax next to Yu’s body and said he suffered trauma to his head
and neck. Another roommate had called the police after hearing Yu and Kweder
