Free income tax help available in Annandale

Free income preparation services are also available to qualified people at the Fairfax SkillSource Center in Annandale.
People who worked in 2012 and earned less than $51,000 may qualify.

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4-7 p.m. and Saturdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., through April
13. Facilitated self-assistance, in which taxpayers file their own taxes with
help from a volunteer, is available on Saturdays, 1-4 p.m.
This assistance is being provided throughout the region by the Northern Virginia Cash (creating assets, savings, and hope) Coalition. Volunteers will ensure taxpayers receive the maximum
refund and will determine if clients are eligible for the earned
income tax credit.
