Fun for children at the Taste of Annandale
Be sure to bring your children to the Taste of Annandale. The ACCA Child Development Center is hosting a full day of fun activities for them.
The Taste of Annandale is Sept. 21 at the Eileen Garnett Civic space, adjacent to the the CDC.
CDC Executive Director Maria-Isabel Ballivian plans to engage children with art and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) projects.
Marsha and the Positrons will perform fun songs about science and how the world works.
Ballivian will also bring two performers from the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts.
Children will have an opportunity to pan for “gold,” search an archaeological site for dinosaur skeletons, and collect things and look at them under a microscope.
The popular Paw Patrol characters will be on hand, and there will be face painting, a bubble machine, a DJ, and free time on the playground.
