Garden plots available for rent at Hogge Park in Bailey’s Crossroads
Garden plots are now available for rental at the newly renovated Boyd A. and Charlotte M. Hogge Park in Bailey’s Crossroads.
The park, at 3139 Glen Carlyn Road, has a fenced-in garden with 34 raised 6 by 9-feet garden beds. The plots are available for rental for one season – February through November – for $80.
The site has a shared water source and a shed with basic gardening tools.

Applicants must be Fairfax County residents. Only one plot is permitted per household. Priority will be given to those who live closest to Hogge Park.
Master Gardeners from the Virginia Cooperative Extension Program will host monthly vegetable gardening clinics at Hogge Park on Saturday mornings, 9-11:30 a.m., on April 15, May 13, June 10, July 15, Aug. 19, and Sept. 23.
Master Gardeners are also holding plant clinics at community gardens at seven other parks – including Pine Ridge Park in Annandale – at the same dates and times.
