After a long break due to the Covid pandemic, George Mason Friends is again hosting a book sale at George Mason Regional Library

This year’s sale, beginning Friday, Oct. 22, will be smaller but take place over 10 days.

While this sale will be limited to the large meeting room and lobby, it will offer a wide variety of high-quality books, CDs, and DVDs in various categories. New inventory will be added over the course of the sale as space allows.

The book sale will be open as follows:

  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Oct 22-24: 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, Oct 25-27: 2-8 p.m.
  • Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Oct 28 -Oct. 31: 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
The book sale includes art, architecture, and rare books.

Fairfax County Covid restrictions will be in effect, including a mask requirement, social distancing, and occupancy limits. Customers must use credit or debit cards; cash will not be accepted.

Proceeds from the book sale support the Fairfax County Library Summer Reading Program, George Mason Regional Library programming, the Fall for the Book Festival, and the Fairfax County Library Foundation Scholarships.
