Girl Scouts help families at Ronald McDonald House

Members of Girl Scout Troop 5655 helped brighten the lives of families undergoing difficult times by cooking dinner for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House at Inova Fairfax Hospital on Presidents’ Day.

The girls, Mireille, Sydney, Eleanor, and Eva, are students at Annandale and Justice high schools. They made pasta with goat cheese and roasted veggies. “They had a great experience, and the dinner turned out really well,” reports parent Wendy Reinoehl.

The Ronald McDonald House provides a place to stay and other resources so parents can be close to where their children are receiving medical treatments.
