Gold’s Gym in Seven Corners is closing

Gold’s Gym at 6720 Arlington Blvd. in Seven Corners is
closing on March 13.

A message in the gym from Gold’s President Adam Zeitsiff states:
“The landlord has unexpectedly exercised their early termination option on our
lease. To ensure there is no interruption to your fitness journey, we will be
relocating our members to Gold’s Gym Bailey’s Crossroads located at 3505 Carlin
Springs Road.”

“There will be no change to your membership dues,” the notice
says. Members will also have access to all 23 Gold’s locations in the D.C.
metro area.

  1. I belong to Gold's, but never liked that location; the parking lot is crowded on weekend mornings because of Hong Kong Pearl, and the equipment is old. What stinks is that the Bailey's and Ballston locations will be more crowded now.

  2. That really sucks. I've been a member there for years & am quite pleased with that gym. Ever since schmump has been in office, Many establishments that I frequent & enjoy have closed. Not a coincidence.

  3. Please read before commenting. The gym is closing because the landlord decided to terminate the lease. It can't be compared to a business closing because of bankruptcy. If you want to express your feelings about the current government, go for it! Just make sure the situation actually fits it.
I wonder what will replace it.

  4. I wonder if this trend is going to continue. The Courthouse Gold's closed due to "landlord & lease" issues. Ballston sucks…it ALWAYS smells terrible. Clarendon and the existing Rosslyn are tiny. Hopefully the new Rosslyn (if it ever opens) will be better.
