High school students can be ‘election pages’
Election pages will serve an eight-hour shift at a polling place on Nov. 5 under the supervision of a chief election officer.
To participate, students must be (1) enrolled in a high school government class or (2) be at least 16 years old and fluent in English and also fluent in Spanish, Vietnamese, or Korean. Applicants must sign up for a two-hour training session.
Election pages are not paid but will receive a certificate of appreciation and credit for community service hours.

Adult poll workers are still needed, too. Poll workers are paid. Training begins in September.
