House fire on Columbia Pike

There was a major house fire on Columbia Pike near Lincolnia Road this afternoon, an alert reader reported: “There was lots of smoke coming from a yard with trees. I counted about five or six fire trucks rushing in that direction before and after I encountered the scene. I had to turn around and take Lincolnia to Braddock in order to get to Annandale.” The reader was able to get a short video clip. Select “open.”
