“Our generous and
diverse community always donates new surprises, and different themes emerge for
every sale,” says Laura Noble of the Friends group. “This spring we have a
strong Comic-Con vibe, with many donations from gamers and serious comic book
collectors.”
The book sale is all over the library. |
There is a huge selection of comic books, all in terrific condition, Noble says,
plus a varied selection of new and used video games for all ages, manuals
for role-playing games, and even a few complete Dungeons and Dragons game sets.

that caught our attention this spring as we sorted donations was an unusual
number of books about the mistresses and love affairs of famous historical
figures, along with an abundance of celebrity biographies,” she says.
