The Fairfax County and Virginia State Police have put out an amber alert for a missing infant “believed to be in extreme danger.” The 6-week old infant, Liz Khatun, was reported missing at 11 a.m. on July 11 in Annandale.
The police believe the child was abducted by Flora Khatun, the child’s mother. She is described as white, age 31, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 120 pounds, with brown eyes and brown/black hair. She was wearing a black T-shirt and black yoga pants.
The is white, 9 pounds, 1 foot 7 inches tall, with brown eyes and brown hair.
Flora Katun and the baby might be traveling in a blue 2011 Toyota Sienna with Virginia license tax XJG1035.
According to the FCPD, staff at the Fairfax County Department of Family Services, at 7611 Little River Turnpike, notified the police on July 12 that the agency had a court order to remove the baby from its home but could not locate the baby or its mother.

I would like to read more about it like if the 6 week old infant Liz Khatun and the abductor Flora Khatun are related in any type of way like family or by blood or if not I just want to figure out who is who and if they are related by birth like Flora Khatun and Liz Khatun are mother and daughter or not. I just want figure out where they were last spotted in Virginia so they could figure out a little more than what they figured out now that is all i am saying about it though because it makes me and other people so upset that we want to find the 6 week old baby and take it and make sr=ure it is okay and take it to an orphanage or keep it until we find a good home for it. that is all for right now.
A couple things. First, based on the picture, Flora Khatun is not white.
Second, it sounds like this is a case of a mother running off with her child so the county won't take it from her. Do we really need to send out an "Amber Alert" for this? It isn't like she was abducted by a pedophile or something. Let's stop using Amber Alert for cases where it's just a parent running off with his or her own child. I am inclined to believe that the county taking children from their parents does more harm than good, anyway.
My niece's mother took her from the United States to the U.K. against court order when she was only four. We haven't seen her since; she turned 30 in April. Her mother has been engaging in what they call parental alienation, and we've all had to come to terms with the fact that the girl we loved so dearly may never want to get to know us, even though this side of the family is actually the functional, loving, and sane one.
There's a reason that the county wanted to protect Liz from her mother, and given that this poor girl isn't even two months old, I'm betting it's a doozy. Parental child abduction is absolutely a valid concern; the assumption that a child is always safest with their parent(s) is foolish and ignorant.
Thank God that you don't know what it's like, and pray that you never will.
This. A friend is currently in Nicaragua trying to retrieve his child from the mother who has violated several court orders and international agreements by keeping the son after the father was awarded custody. She has disappeared with the boy for almost a year.
The county felt is was best to remove a 6 week old from her home. They had already taken the woman's other children. So, maybe these children were better off without their parent. If it's an abusive, or drug filled environment, I would thing leaving the children there would be far worse. 5:53, there's a lot of bad stuff going on out there.
