Italian restaurant to open next month in Bailey’s Crossroads
The future home of Nour Resto. |
Updated Jan. 21: An Italian restaurant called Nour Resto is under construction in a small retail strip on Leesburg Pike in Bailey’s Crossroads. It’s replacing Sardi’s Pollo A La Brasa, which closed several months ago.
It could open in late February or early March says director of operations Aziza Naji.
The restaurant, owned by Ibrahim Hilmi Aburish, will focus on Italian cuisine prepared by chef Moe Dakka from Las Vegas. There will be a full bar, too, as well as an outdoor patio with heaters and live music.
Nour Resto will be run by the same team that operates Mazaro, a modern Italian restaurant in Clarendon but will offer a more casual, traditional menu.
I'm still sad about Sardi's. I really liked that place.
Yeah!
Woohoo, Baileys is rocking it up with new venues that are sorely needed. Maybe I can stop going to Arlington, Alexandria, Tysons and DC for some upscale food.
mmmmm….
not so fast.
But maybe.
Yes!!
What the hell??? We need another Korean BBQ place…or a bank.
Exactly! Another thrift shop or a Latino grocery store would work too.
Wow the sarcasm is top notch! I advise both of you and your friends invest the thousands of dollars necessary for restaurants and stores to cater to your non-ethnic needs. No one is stopping you.
