Join the Women’s Summit next weekend

Tomatoes are ripe, the pool is open, the sun tea is on the porch, and Network NOVA is hosting the 6th annual Women’s Summit June 24-25. Summer is here!

The event is packed with inspiration and inside information on how best to engage in progressive politics, both before and after the elections.

The program is chock full of experts, advocates, and local and state elected officials – a powerhouse of female leaders – all of whom are anxious to network, plan, and encourage activists, from first timers to old hands.

The program includes a Friday Social in Herndon highlighting the leadership and amazing work of our public school advocates.

On Saturday, in our backyard at Northern Virginia Community College in Annandale, close to a dozen elected officials and candidates will speak. Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton and state Senator Jennifer McClellan will join us, as well as other inspirational speakers, including Tarina Keene of the newly named ReproRising Virginia. The musical headliners will be Crys Matthews and Heather Mae.

It’s worth the $49 admission price to hear them and have lunch!

This is the premier progressive grassroots event in Virginia. It promises to be both enlightening and entertaining.
