Juvenile arrested for DWI, hit and run

A Fairfax County police officer attempted to stop the driver of a vehicle for suspected driving while intoxicated on March 22 at about 2 a.m. on Leesburg Pike near Nevius Street in the Culmore area.

The driver gave chase, struck several parked vehicles, then attempted to flee on foot. When police captured the suspect, he turned out to be a 14-year-old. He was charged with DWI, speed to elude, no driver’s license, and seven counts of hit and run.

On March 21, the Fairfax County Police Department reported a robbery in the 3400 block of S. Jefferson Street at Leesburg Pike Plaza. Two men entered a store at about 4 a.m. and displayed a knife to an employee. The suspects took property and fled. There were no injuries. One suspect was described as black, 40-50 years old, and about 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall. The other was described as black with a heavy build.

    1. Oh please, that remark is way over the top. PG may be disengaged at times, but hate is a strong word that unfairly represents her emotions.

  2. Hope this kid & his parent/guardian get some counseling. He was DWI not DUI in addition to driving out of control w/o a license.
