Kabob restaurant coming to Gallows Road

A long-vacant building at 3340 Gallows Road in Annandale
will be transformed into a Middle Eastern restaurant specializing in kabobs, reports
owner Nabeel Alotaibi.
Yummy Kabob could open as early as mid-May, says Danny
Khammar, who’s handling marketing for the new restaurant. That seems ambitious,
however, as the inside of the building is still pretty much gutted.
The menu
hasn’t been finalized yet, but will include chicken, seafood, rice dishes, naan
bread, and Mediterranean specialties. The food will be halal, so alcohol
won’t be served.
The stand-alone building, next to the beltway, most recently
housed the Photoria photo and video services company and before that was a real
estate office.

  1. Wow, you are right. I skipped over it thinking it was random clip art. But that is a terrible logo. Especially compared to what you can get for not that much. And Yummy Kabob? There have got to be better names. Fresh Kabob!

  2. I hope the stay open 24 hours, it would be great for the hospital and Merrifield post office workers.

  3. Nothing will ever come close to Kabob Corner but good luck to Yummy Kabob (agree – a name and logo change are badly needed!).
