Let’s Dish! offers free meals for teachers

If you’re a teacher, you can get yourself and your family a free dinner at Let’s Dish! every Wednesday between Aug. 10 and Aug. 31.

Public, private, preschool, and college teachers and administrators are eligible for the do-it-yourself meals, says Yosha Wesley of the Let’s Dish! in the Pinecrest Shopping Center, 6550-G Little River Turnpike (703/750-0790).

To take advantage of the free-meals-for-teachers offer, you’ll need to set up a Let’s Dish account and bring a school ID.

The teacher meals, enough for a family of four to six, include Caribbean chicken fingers with parmesan green beans, chili-lime chicken with black bean salsa, beachfront shrimp al fresco, Greek pork wraps, and Southwestern pinto burgers. You’ll need to pick up your meals 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

At Let’s Dish!, customers call in an order, then come to the store to put meals together onsite with preassembled ingredients. You can take them home and serve them right away or assemble a week’s worth of meals to store in your freezer. You can pay extra for ready-to-go assembled meals or bring a bunch of friends for a private cooking party.
