Library will reward young readers with free books

The George Mason Regional Library in Annandale encourages children to keep reading during winter break and throughout the winter.

As an incentive, the library is giving kids in grades K-12 a free book of their choice for every three books they read between Dec. 21 and Feb. 28, reports Jane Ampah, the library’s youth services manager.

Kids and teens can read any book they want at the library or at home. There’s a maximum of three free books per person. To participate, sign the reading log at the library.
