Life in the time of coronavirus

Look what we found in a back corner of the CVS.

How is coronavirus pandemic affecting our daily lives and local
businesses? On a walk down Little River Turnpike on Friday afternoon, we found
restaurants with all the tables pushed out of the way, people wearing face
masks, and empty shelves that used to be filled with paper products and hand
sanitizer.

Restaurants are now limited to delivery and takeout.
Casa d’Mama Pizzeria makes sure no one can sit down.
The soap section at Safeway. A sign urges customers to buy no more than four hand sanitizer containers per visit.
A Safeway employee says there is toilet paper in the back room that hasn’t been shelved yet.
Dynasty Hair Salon is shuttered, per Gov. Northam’s order requiring all personal care businesses to close.
Anna and Baby
Play time at Fairmont Gardens.
Wendy’s is open but you can’t sit inside.
Gas at Liberty drops below $2.
A relic from the past. We don’t know if it works because we refused to touch it.
A sign at Tony Moly
Hello, spring!
You’ll have to cut your own hair, or let it grow.
A mysterious display outside someone’s condo.
A lucky find.
Paisono’s delivery guys are pretty busy.
The LoanMax is store is closed but you can still get high-interest loans online or on the phone.
The psychic office is closed, but a note on the door says you can call and she will be there in 10 minutes.
