Lincolnia restaurant offers all you can eat at budget prices
Umai Fusion Buffet in Lincolnia offers one of the best deals in the area – all-you-can-eat meals for $12.99 for lunch and $18.99 for dinner – although we can’t vouch for the quality of the food.
The restaurant replaces Red Crab, a franchise restaurant that opened in June 2022 at 6244 Little River Turnpike at the Plaza at Landmark and closed six months later. Umai Seafood Buffet retains Red Crab’s décor.
Umai offers many dozens of items, including shrimp, snow crab, baby octopus, oysters, sushi, sashimi, and Chinese, Japanese, and American dishes. Some of the seafood items aren’t available at lunchtime.
They’re running a special through Dec. 22: $10.99 for lunch and $16.99 for dinner. Soft drinks are extra; they don’t serve alcohol. The restaurant will be open on Christmas
There is no service charge except for parties of eight or more.
“Umai” means delicious in Japanese.
The former Win Buffet that was around forever, until the pandemic. Will be going there soon to check it out!
I actually like this buffet. The hot and sour soup is excellent. There is a nice hibachi bar. The pepper chicken is awesome. The only negative is that service is not very attentive and available, especially regarding refilling drinks.
The food is always good. A lot of selection to choose from. I recommend people to go there.
So I tried it Saturday night, and I will be going back.
(And the servers were good about refilling my Pepsi.)
My husband and I tried this restaurant while we were shopping in the plaza a couple weeks ago and we liked it. It is an extraordinarily good value given that they offer typical appetizer options, main meal options and dessert options. They offer a good variety, including seafood. We will definitely frequent this restaurant.
This restaurant is the best Asian buffet I have found in NoVa.
The staff is very pleasant and really quick to clean away the plates that have been used at your table. Now down to business, the food is excellent it is hot and fresh. The Crab Legs and Raw Oysters on the dinner menu are so good that when they ask where I like to sit I say the cold bar which is also right next to the sushi station. Top notch! They also have a stir fry station that uses very fresh proteins and vegetables. The steam table offerings are always fresh and vary from Japanese,Chinese and American. They don’t wait until something is gone and the pan stays there empty . So I hope you find this true and honest feedback useful and on a side note I was not paid for this .
