Local residents got a chance to try food from 15 restaurants for free at the annual Taste of Braddock reception hosted by Braddock Supervisor John Cook Dec. 9.

Students from the culinary arts program at Annandale High School, with supervision from teacher Christine Gloninger (“Chef G”), contributed dozens of freshly baked cookies and helped set up, serve, and clean up after the event.
Participating restaurants and food vendors included Lebanese Bistro, Spartan’s Family Restaurant, Chuy’s, Edible Arrangements, Giardino Italian Restaurant, Hunan West, Milano’s, Chicken Palace, Smith & Clarkson’s Deli, Austin Grill, Wegmans, Dunkin Donuts, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, Coyote Grill, and Kilroy’s.
Happy to see our Annandale Supervisor Cook taking care of the kids who attend a school in Penny's district.
