Local robotics teams heading to state tournament

Two Coyote Robotics teams from GW Community School in Springfield won competitions in the Northern Virginia FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Qualifying Tournament at Battlefield High School in Haymarket Dec. 14. Both Team 965, captained by Matthew Firsching, and Team 3749, captained by Matt Cathell, are heading to the FTC Virginia State Championship Tournament March 2 in Richmond.
