That is awful, poor guy probably did not know what him. It may have been mother nature's way of saying leave the trees alone, always trim from the bottom.
The tree company was DONNIE JENKINS JR TREE SERVICE & LANDSCAPING.
We don't know the whole story, and may never understand the circumstances of how Jacinto Gomez Diaz was hired (picked up for duty) and put in that tree on Tuesday afternoon.
But what we do know:
Reputable tree companies do not hire people from 7-11, show up in the late afternoon, work above the electric high-wire, drop limbs and watch them burn while continuing work at the urging of neighbors to stop, and work into the darkness to get the job done. This puts everyone in jeopardy.

DO NOT HIRE people like this!!!!! For their sake, as well as yours.
It's so sad to see untrained people from 7-11 hired like this. The practice should be outlawed. And to boot, I'd guess that these people are all paid under the table in cash….and it's not reported to the IRS, so no taxes are paid on their income. I'd be interested to see if Mr. Diaz was a U.S. citizen.
Where is anyone getting this dude was an illegal hired from a 7-11?
