Man arrested in botched bank robbery in Seven Corners
Officers from the Mason District Police Station have charged Herson
Geovanne Torres, 22, of 7230 Beverly Park Drive, Springfield, with the attempted
robbery of Capital One bank in Seven Corners.

The suspect had entered the bank, located at 6367 Seven
Corners Center, at around 3:05 p.m. on June 5. He passed a note demanding money
to the teller but fled on foot before the teller could comply. There were no
injuries.

According to the local CBS affiliate, Torres is free on bail
and due in court July 31 to face charges in that incident. He is also due in
court June 28 to race unrelated charges of driving on a suspended or revoked
license.
