Quali [FCPD] |
In another incident, a man who stopped at a 7-Eleven at 3827 George Mason Drive in Bailey’s Crossroads at about 11 a.m. on Jan. 4 left his car unlocked with the keys inside. When he came out of the store, he noticed a woman sitting in the driver’s seat of his car. When he confronted her, she closed the door and acted like she was going to drive away. The victim pulled her out of his car and she eventually walked away.
The victim reported cash missing from inside the car, and officers found the suspect, Obtissem Quali, 30, of Arlington, nearby. Quali was arrested and charged with larceny (third or subsequent conviction), grand larceny (attempted auto theft), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
NOTE: This blog focuses on crimes in the Annandale/Mason District area. There were plenty of other recent crimes in other parts of Fairfax County.
It's becoming clear from these crime reports that Annandale is no longer a place to be walking around after dark. – Sparky
