Man attacks people at senior center

The Fairfax County Police Department reports the following recent crimes in the Annandale/Mason District area:
A man entered a building at the Lincolnia Senior Center being used as a hypothermia shelter (4710 N. Chambliss St.) shortly before 7 a.m. on March 20 and began assaulting several people.
The man made his way outside where he damaged a car and spat on responding officers before being taken into custody. Abdul Deen-Sie, 24, of Alexandria, was charged with three counts of malicious wounding, two counts of assault on law enforcement, obstruction, destruction of property, and assault.
We already reported on two reckless discharge incidents at the Vistas of Annandale. There was another one on March 21, shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Rectory Lane at Sutter Lane in Annandale. A person was seen shooting a gun in the direction of a building before running away. No injuries were reported.

A man was charged with grand larceny at the Home Depot at 6555 Little River Turnpike just after 11 a.m. on March 24. A man concealed merchandise inside the store and attempted to leave in a car. Officers stopped the car and arrested Tyrek Rollings, 23, of New York.
Rollings was charged with two counts of grand larceny and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Two juveniles were also charged with grand larceny.
There was a carjacking incident at 6:40 a.m. March 21 in the 5500 block of Backlick Road in the Springfield area of Mason District. A man entered a parked delivery truck, displayed a gun, and forced the workers out of the truck. The man drove the truck away. It was later recovered in another jurisdiction after all contents had been removed.
