Man attacks woman on Annandale Road

Fairfax County Police are seeking a suspect who attempted to abduct a woman on Annandale Road Wednesday, Sept. 4. The woman, age 48, was walking on the sidewalk on the 2900 block of Annandale Road, by the Jefferson Village Apartments close to Route 50, at about 8:30 p.m. An unknown man approached, pulled her off the sidewalk, and threatened her. As another man approached, the suspect pushed the victim to the ground and fled. The victim ran home and called the police. All that’s known about the suspect is that he has a Spanish accent.
