Man charged with soliciting minors for sex
A Springfield man has been charged in federal court with “coercion and enticement of a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity,” the Fairfax County Police Department reported March 13.
The arrest of Kenneth A. Brauckmann, 50, of 7303 Calamo Street, was the result of an investigation conducted by detectives from the FCPD’s Child Exploitation Unit, along with agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations department.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria Division, alleges that Brauckmann was using online chat rooms to attempt to solicit and entice young girls for sex.
Detectives would like to hear from anyone who might have information regarding this case, or any other case involving alleged child sexual exploitation.
