Man shot in Annandale
The Fairfax County Police Department reports a shooting shortly before 11 p.m. April 4 at the Fairmont Gardens Apartments in Annandale.
A man in his late teens or early 20s was walking in the 4000 block of Wadsworth Court when he noticed a sedan following him. A man got out of the sedan and shot the victim multiple times. The victim was taken to the hospital for injuries that were serious, but not considered life threatening.
The suspect left the area in the sedan after the shooting. Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances that led to this shooting. Preliminarily, they do not believe this was a random act.

Lived in Annandale my whole life and 100% agree with you. They need to start by demolishing these apartments (Fairmount Gardens & Avant)

Does anyone know or know how to find out if Fairmount Gardens and the Avant are FxCo subsidized housing apartments? Is everyone aware that FxCo owns the Wedgewood Apt. complex?
