Man spied on teen in laundromat restroom

Fairfax County Police detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a “person of interest” who might have filmed a minor in a restroom at Surf “N” Suds at 5715 Columbia Pike in Bailey’s Crossroads.

A teenage girl was using the women’s restroom around 7:50 p.m. on Dec 12, when she noticed a phone with a camera that appeared to be coming from the ceiling. The victim reported the incident to an adult, who then notified the police.

Further investigation revealed the restrooms are adjacent to each other and share a common, open ceiling. The surveillance images above show a man leaving the men’s restroom around the time of the incident.
