Man with parrots wanted for robbery
Detectives with the Mason Police District are seeking the community’s help in identifying a strong-armed robbery suspect with three parrots.
The suspect is wanted for robbing the McDonald’s at 6165 Arlington Boulevard in Seven Corners at around 8 a.m. on Aug. 22.
The victim, an adult man, said the suspect displayed a knife and robbed him of an undisclosed amount of money.
He described the suspect as a Hispanic man between 28 and 32 years old with tattoos.
Surveillance footage from a nearby business shows the suspect wearing a black cowboy hat and a patterned shirt.
He had two parrots on top of his hat and another parrot on his shoulder. He left the area in a blue Ford SUV.
Anyone with information about this incident should call the Mason Police District’s Criminal Investigations Division at 703-256-8035 or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Solvers.
This is amusing. Shouldn’t be hard to find.
I disagree – its obvious the parrots are wearing disguises.
Really? Were the parrots accomplices?
This is so funny! Of course, if the parrots said “Stick ’em up” then the man is the accomplice!
Any news — has he been caught?
