Markham Street Cafe closed for retooling

The Markham Street Cafe is in a small retail center at 4316 Markham Street.

The Markham Street Café, the unique Annandale bistro that
opened last November, is going through some changes and is closed temporarily.

Partners Victor Samuel and Evan Scher announced on Facebook Aug.
7 that they are moving on and wish good luck to the new owners.

The third partner, David Kim, is staying on. He told the
Annandale Blogger the menu will be expanded to include more sandwiches and
desserts. There will be some minor changes inside, such as partially enclosing
the bar area and adding a bakery display case. He expects the restaurant to
reopen in two or three weeks.
