Martial arts studio coming to Seven Corners
The Little Giant Muay Thai is moving from its current spot at 5643 Columbia Pike in Bailey’s Crossroads to the Seven Corners Shopping Center. They hope to reopen by the end of August.
The Little Giant offers instruction in the martial arts practice known as Muay Thai, or Thai boxing, a fighting technique that uses fists, feet, knees, and elbows. Classes focus on real-world striking, self-defense, and improved situational awareness.
Participants improve fitness and strength, while developing self-discipline. There are small-group classes for kids age 4 and up, teens, and adults. Private lessons are available, too.
“Little Giant” is the nickname of co-founder and head instructor Thanat Tanachon, known Kru (Master)) Chon, a Muay Thai champion despite his small stature.
The Little Giant will be located at 6310 Seven Corners Center between Five Below and The UPS Store.
