Massage therapist dies in jail
The massage therapist who was arrested in Annandale March 25 for fondling a patient was found dead at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, the Police Department reports.
Kyung Pil Chang, 55, of Haymarket, was found unresponsive in his cell at about 4:40 p.m. on March 29. He was pronounced deceased by Fire and Rescue personnel. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy this morning. A preliminary report indicates no signs of foul play.

Chang was arrested March 25 at the Annandale Gerontology Clinic on Evergreen Lane. He was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery, object sexual penetration, and practicing as an unlicensed massage therapist.
This is the second death at the Adult Detention Center this week. George Redmond, 65, was found unresponsive in his cell on March 28. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Redmond had been arrested for failure to appear for a warrant related to an original charge of trespassing and destruction of property in Alexandria.
The Fairfax County Police Department is required to investigate all in-custody deaths.
