Michelle Obama to speak at Annandale High School

First Lady Michelle Obama will visit Annandale High School Oct. 13 along with Republic of Korea First Lady Kim Yoon-ok, the student newspaper, the A-Blast, reported.

The White House is hosting Lee Myung-bak, president of the Republic of Korea, and his wife that day for a State  Visit. Michelle Obama will speak to the AHS student body.

The assembly will also feature violinist Jennifer Koh, the World Children’s Choir, and performances by AHS students.

  1. Omg….My friend goes to that school… but ex president George Bush went to our high school ( Jeb Stuart High School) already…..to many famous people come to the Fairfax County, Va are!

  2. Perhaps Tessie should be there to tell the First Lady what her beef is with Annandale and why she championed ripping apart the student body. Lets hope the new school board is finally concerned about the students and families that pay for and use the schools. Hopefully Tessie will retire to Florida.

  3. If you're referring to Braddock District school board member Tessie Wilson, she is not running for re-election.

  4. i get to go because i was one of the people choosen to see her i cant wait but their being very strict about everything i cant wait
