Missing dog near Bristow Drive area

Bob and Sarah Turner’s beloved dog, Rosie, ran off from their church at the corner of Ravensworth Road and Braddock Road in Annandale Saturday around 11 a.m. She was headed up Bristow Drive toward Little River Turnpike, but they don’t know how far she went.

Rosie is a German Shepherd/Collie mix. She weighs almost 60 pounds. She is golden with a black nose and ears and white front paws and is wearing a blue collar.

“She looks a little like a fox because of her narrow nose and bushy tail,” Sarah Turner reports. “She is a very nice dog but shy of people and may be especially timid if she is hurt.”
