Missing teen sought by police

UPDATE: Samantha has been found in the Annandale are, FCPD announced just after 5 p.m. on March 22. She is in good health.

Police detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Samantha Esteves Almeida. She was last seen on the grounds of Inova Fairfax Medical Campus around midnight on March 21.

Detectives are concerned for Samantha’s well-being because she may be in need of medication and they are not certain if she has any with her. Samantha might have left of her own free will, in a dark-colored sedan.
There is no indication of foul play. She is 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 115 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white hat, a white tank top, a gray, hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and white shoes.
