More new restaurants coming to Annandale
The future home of 9292 Korean BBQ. |
A restaurant called 9292 Korean BBQ is moving into the new building under construction adjacent to Casa de Campo restaurant on Little River Turnpike in the center of Annandale.
The building owner, Steve Lee, expects the new restaurant will open in early 2021. The building is divided into two sections, and 9292 will operate a pub in the other space.
This will be 9292’s second restaurant. The first one opened in Duluth, Ga., in 2017. The restaurant features charcoal-grilled meat and some unique items not typically found in Annandale restaurants. According to Atlanta magazine, the name of the restaurant is a pun; when you say 92-92 in Korean it sounds like the word for “grill.” Most of the Yelp reviews give this place five stars.
A meat store and coffee shop/meeting place are coming here. |
Lee also owns the renovated building next door at 7131 Little River Turnpike, which formerly housed the Palace Restaurant. It has been divided into four spaces.
Great developments for the greater Annandale area!
Agreed! They use charcoal to grill the meat, sounds tasty and delicious, can't wait to try smokey kbbq grilled meats. This place stands apart from the pack with them using charcoal, it's not just another kbbq place.
Another Korean BBQ joint. There's one on every corner in Annandale.
They go pairs – a hot pot place and a Korean BBQ LOL
And once you step out, you can sell your now-smelly-cloths to the thrift store next door and buy a fresh set of cloths.
Now rinse and repeat 🙂
