More vendors have opened in the food court at the K Market supermarket on John Marr Drive in Annandale.

Suny Sushi offers a large selection of sushi and Japanese entrees and appetizers, from donburi to bento, temaki to tempura. Proprietor Sonny Lee formerly operated the Yuraki restaurant in Germantown, Md.

The Bu Ddu Mak eatery opened June 14. According to proprietor Alex Song, “bud ddu mak” means “kitchen sink” in Korean, which is a reflection of the long menu.

Song offers “real Korean, original-style,” cuisine, Song says, including freshly made bulgogi, kimchi, galbi, naengmyeon (cold noodles), pig trotters with white kimchi, napa wraps with pork, and much more – and no MSG.

Mango’s Bakery is an offshoot of bakeries in the Ellicott City area in Maryland. Specialties include French baguettes, special-occasion cakes, Korean-style pastries with ingredients, cream puffs, empanadas, and fried donuts.

Skewers You Like and Mochi Donut are also open. Vendors not yet open include K Street and Gâteau Bakery & Dessert Café.

  1. The Mochi Donuts have been sold out the two times I went ?. Also "Mochi Donut" is a million dollar name – nice work. Now let's get them in stock so we can see what they taste like!
