Mr. Tofu opens in Annandale
Annandale has a new Korean restaurant – Mr. Tofu. It’s in
the same spot as Dolce Café and Bakery, 7137 Little River Turnpike, which
closed several months ago. Connie Yu, the owner of both Dolce and Mr. Tofu, renovated the space
and reformatted the menu to focus on heartier lunch and dinner fare.

While most Korean restaurants are heavy on meat dishes,
Mr. Tofu offers vegetarian alternatives with tofu, as well as standards like
bibimbap and bulgogi with beef, pork, or seafood, and cold noodle dishes.
Diners can choose the level of spiciness they want. Beer and wine, including Korean wine, are
also available. The restaurant is open 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m., and there are tentative
plans for extended hours on weekends.
