Nancy Hall honored for her commitment to the community

Nancy Hall and Supervisor Andres Jimenez.

Mason Supervisor Andres Jimenez has named Annandale resident Nancy Hall the 2024 Community Champion for Mason District.

Community Champions, a program of Volunteer Fairfax, honors residents for their commitment to promoting volunteerism within their community while addressing specific needs. Each member of the Board of Supervisors selects a Community Champion.

Nancy Hall serves in a variety of roles as both a community advocate and a volunteer.

She is on the executive board of 4 Public Education, a nonprofit that supports a united, sustainable, fully funded public education system.

As a trustee at the Little River Church of Christ, Hall supports the church’s various programming and outreach efforts. As a member of the financial committee for the Annandale Christian Community for Action (ACCA), she helps to ensure there is sufficient funding to address food insecurity and provide other assistance for those in need.

Her roles as assistant chief of same-day voter registration and a precinct captain for the Mason District Democratic Committee reflect her commitment to civic engagement. Hall is also president of the board of directors for the Royal Homeowners Association.

“Nancy’s commitment to volunteering her time to these organizations shows her unwavering dedication to supporting our community and promoting civic engagement here in Mason,” Jimenez says. “We are truly grateful for her leadership, hard work, and unwavering commitment to making our community the cultural hub of Fairfax County.”
