Suny Sushi plans to open Monday, June 14. The others should be opening soon, too.
Beautiful to see how strong the Asian community in Annandale is.
Enough to keep so many similar places in business and thriving.
These businesses attract tons of non-Asian customers as well at this point. It is no longer about catering to the local Asian community. It is more about Annandale being a destination for Asian, asian-inspired, and other ethnic foods, at a time when cool food is en vogue
K market should not call themselves International market coz they mostly have Korean stuff… so why call them International Market.
Actually genius there is Japanese food too. Don’t worry they didn’t close McDonald’s.
Have you actually been there? They have a huge selection of Latin food, a large Indian aisle, even a Turkish & Middle Eastern section IIRC. It's a great international grocery.
lots of latin food as well.
Korean is international………
I really hope one of those restaurants serves Korean bbq because there's definitely a lack of that type of food in Annandale.
Anti-Korea bot checking in late again. Need to improve your algorithm
Yawn. Funny how you think a comment about the overabundance of Korean bbq restaurants equates to being anti-Korean. Your white liberal wokeness is nauseating.
with menus hardly written in English, i am not sure how you get to this conclusion but whatever.
Wtf? Where are you talking about? I have never come across a Korean-only menu option in any restaurant in Annandale. If you find one please let me know where.
I am inspired and must visit. Wish that the landlord would have pursued an architect for the facade of this complex. The exterior should have expressed the dynamism of what is going on inside to encourage patronage. Its bland and boring frontage is a missed opportunity.
Good food. Good restrooms, which you’ll need after devouring some spicy goodness. Be prepared for your tastebuds to dance with joy and your bowels to explode in pain. The restroom cleaning crew probably quits daily, or drinks heavily to get through the day. Anyways, definitely worth the gut squirts in your fresh tighty whities.
