New dining options for Annandale
Two new restaurants and a tea shop are set to open in Annandale.
El Habanero Taqueria Bar & Grill is under construction at 7321 Little River Turnpike. It’s in the building that used to house Title Max, and before that, Jerry’s Subs and Pizza.
O My Hot Pot & Bar is coming to 7314 Annandale Road in the spot formerly occupied by Al Hamra, a Middle Eastern restaurant that closed in December.
Gong Cha, a bubble tea shop, is set to open in the same shopping center a couple of doors down from Omy Hot Pot in mid-March. The community already had a chance to experience Gong Cha at the Taste of Annandale in October.
*Yawn*
At least the first one looks promising…
Agree — just more money laundering fronts.
Just like the BP station. I never see anyone getting gas there, as it is always considerably over priced. Yet, it somehow stays open. I'm thinking Dice Burger is the same thing.
dice burger is a family favorite and the owner is very nice.
Well good ridden to TitleMax. I welcome the change.
Bring back normal food in Annandale these 2 are gross.
Bring back normal people to Annandale, this 1 above is gross
Normal people, is this a new race?

I think that's the "real Americans" that Michelle Bachmann was referring to.
I don't think Annandale will ever see new new American style restaurants opening again. Just the reality of this town.
Who gives a shit? New places come and are replacing vacant store fronts and all you people can do is cry that it’s not a burger joint.
There are tons of "American" style restaurants about 5 minutes up Columbia Pike. I love Annandale for the variety of foods available.
There will never be any new sitdown American style restaurants in Annandale. Sad but true. That ship has sailed.
We have Silverados, Long Horn, Clydes and you are getting a Chick-Filet, how many more do you need. Or are you looking for a place with early american decor and a big old wagon wheel outside with a sign calling itself the "Real Mckoy Steak House" with all the cholesterol and diabetes fixins you can get, with a touch of racism and bigotry on the side, and a helping of free labor and handouts of John Wayne playing cards.
Did I miss something – when did Clydes and/or Long Horn move to Annandale…..
Don't question them or else you'll ruin their delusional narrative!
Glory Days opened a year ago and is very popular.
Fried chicken joints and watermelon stands maybe an old fashion greasy spoon chuck-wagon. Super processed food mass production stamped out cookie cutters. Any thing butt mexican bean curd.
Annandale really seems to be a melting pot but I think that's great considering there are American style places not far.
Mr. Goldberg nailed it. Who cares? Go where you like! You all need something to do!
I wish we would get a bao place. I would eat so many steam buns. All. The Steam Buns.
I think I'm one of the "normal people" referred to by Anonymous2/25/19, 7:24 AM (white, native USA born). We love the variety of really good ethnic foods available in the area. Diversity of people is a plus too.
Looking forward to checking out El Habanero Taqueria Bar & Grill. Glad to see a restaurant/bar in Annandale that offers Hispanic flair. Hope to see the menu soon!
Getting rid of Title Max payday loan type places is a win. This is great. Now let's replace every other title max in Mason with a restaurant or other type of business.
Habanero está bien, pero demasiada comida China o Koreans, todo su equipo es demasiado viejo.
