New principal named for Glasgow MS

Fairfax County Public Schools named Lisa Barrow the new principal of Glasgow Middle School. She has served as principal of Cooper Middle School in McLean since 2020.

“We are delighted to welcome her back to Region 2,” Assistant Superintendent Megan Vroman tweeted on X.

Barrow was principal of Sleepy Hollow Elementary School from 2011 to 2016.

She has also served as assistant principal at Frost Middle School and Marshall Road Elementary School. She chaired the emotional disabilities department at the middle school level and coordinated the FCPS equity and cultural responsiveness team.

Glasgow’s former principal, Victor Powell, left the school in August to accept a position as supervisor of Title I programs at Prince William County Public Schools.
