New restaurants open at Eden Center

Little Viet Garden.

If you haven’t been to Eden Center, the Vietnamese shopping center, on Wilson Boulevard in Seven Corners, recently, you might be surprised to find several new restaurants.

Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot offers the perfect antidote to cold winter weather: a hot aromatic soup base – spicy or not – that the diner personalizes from a selection of meat, seafood, vegetables, or noodles.

Little Viet Garden, a popular restaurant in Clarendon in the 1990s, has been resurrected in the Eden Center. Co-owners and spouses Michael Phan and Anh Hong, the owners of the Banh Ta Deli in Eden Center, brought back the Little Viet Garden name when they expanded their banh mi sandwich shop into a full-service sit-down restaurant, the Washington Post reported.

Kien Giang Quan Vietnamese Soup Restaurant, a hole-in-the-wall in the interior of the center, opened a few months ago. It’s known for its bun bo hue (soup with rice vermicelli and beef) and pho ga di bo (soup with chicken, noodles, and ginger).

Kao Sarn, also in the interior of the Eden Center, specializes in Thai street food, including crispy pork belly, papaya salad, kao men kai chicken over rice, panang beef, and much more.
