Night Watch to offer free tutoring

Night Watch’s Brain Booster program will help children succeed in school.

Night Watch Urgent Care, a pediatric healthcare center in Falls Church, is starting a free tutoring program called Brain Boosters.

Night Watch is located at 7263 Arlington Blvd, Suite F, in Graham Park Plaza. It’s open 10 a.m.-midnight on weekdays and 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on weekends. The night hours make it convenient for parents to get their children’s medical needs taken care of without having to disrupt their work and school schedules.

The goal of Brain Boosters is “to empower underprivileged elementary students to achieve academic success and personal growth by providing free tutoring, resources, and a supportive learning environment,” says Dr. Ravneet Dhaliwal, co-founder of Night Watch.

The program, conducted in collaboration with the Sachkhand Foundation, will focus on math, reading, and writing. Tutoring will be carried out once a week at Night Watch on weekends.

Rather than just offer homework help, Dhaliwal says the program will “foster curiosity, engagement, and a positive attitude towards education beyond the classroom.”

“Night Watch will create a safe and encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking risks, leading to increased self-confidence,” she says. Participating students will receive essential learning materials and extracurricular books to support their academic journey and personal development.
