Nominations sought for best Annandale restaurants
In conjunction with the Taste of Annandale next fall, the
Annandale Blog is reviving our “Best of Annandale” competition. Readers are
asked to name their favorite places to eat within or on the edge of Annandale,
which we’re defining as the 22003 zip code.

The first phase of the “Annie Awards” contest calls for
readers to nominate their favorites in several categories in an open-ended
online survey. Places getting the most mentions will go on to the second round,
in which readers will vote for their top choices.

The winners will be announced at the Taste of Annandale, a
community festival on Oct. 14, on Tom Davis Drive.

The previous Annie Awards were presented to local
restaurants and shops in 2014 during “Blogapalooza,” the Annandale Blog’s fifth
anniversary party.
